PE at Scotts Park
PE at Scotts Park Primary
At Scotts Park Primary, we believe that physical education (PE) is essential for every child’s health, wellbeing, and personal development. PE not only helps children stay active and healthy but also supports teamwork, resilience, confidence, and a positive attitude to learning.
Our PE curriculum is carefully designed to provide a wide range of sports and physical activities, ensuring that all pupils develop the skills, knowledge, and understanding they need to enjoy lifelong physical activity. From traditional team sports like football, netball, and hockey to individual activities such as gymnastics, athletics, and dance, children are encouraged to try new challenges and discover their strengths.
We also incorporate outdoor learning and play, linking physical activity with our Forest School provision to promote coordination, problem-solving, and creativity. Our approach ensures that every child can experience success, enjoy physical activity, and develop a love for staying active.
At Scotts Park, PE is more than just a lesson – it is an opportunity for children to build confidence, celebrate achievements, and learn valuable life skills while having fun.
