School Meals

At Orion Scotts Park Primary, we are committed to providing healthy, nutritious meals for all our pupils. Children in Reception and Years 1–6 are entitled to Universal Free School Meals, meaning you do not have to pay for their lunch.

We strongly encourage all parents who are eligible to apply for Free School Meals, regardless of year group, as the school receives additional funding through this process. This funding directly supports your child’s learning and development. We are proud to work with our new catering partner, Culinera, who provide freshly prepared, high-quality meals in our school daily. Culinera is an award-winning, education-focused caterer passionate about sourcing fresh ingredients and serving delicious, balanced meals for children.

If your child has a food allergy, please ensure the school is informed, including any supporting letter from a medical professional (GP, consultant, or dietician). Allergy information will be shared with Culinera.

• If your child can safely eat from the published menu and the school is already aware of their dietary needs, no further action is required.

• For more complex allergy requirements requiring a special menu, please complete our Special Medical Diet Form.

Please ensure that lunches are logged by 8:00am each day if booking daily. You also have the option to book weekly, monthly, or termly, depending on your preference.
